Bardan Cells Ltd has been named as the only Australian battery cell manufacturing company to share more than $242 million in federal government funding as part of the Curtin-led Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Trailblazer hub. Bardan focuses on developing advanced battery cells and their related applications and services for the growing remote power storage industry.

The Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Trailblazer hub will focus on research outputs into breakthrough services, products and businesses to develop Australia’s critical raw materials industry. https://news.curtin.edu.au/media-releases/curtin-blazes-a-trail-for-resources-research-commercialisation/

Curtin Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research, Professor Chris Moran said “The Trailblazer will be a key gateway for industry, opening up access for industry to the wealth of expertise inside universities to ultimately support the start-up and growth of Australian businesses.”

Bardan Cells is based in Perth, Western Australia and is a collaboration between AMTE Power PLC (UK) and InfraNomics (Australia) to develop “powder to power” storage solutions for the global transformation of energy.
